If released as intended, MEXICO would have been the eighth Philistine book. MEXICO, as suggested by its title, was to be the first issue in the “Mexico Adventures” series. The “Mexico Adventures” stories have been used as bookends to the original Philistine storyline. The fact that this placement forces the “Origin” mini-series and MISSION (issue zero) into the context of flashbacks seems almost intentional. At any rate, if no more Philistine stories are ever created, MEXICO surely serves as a poignant ending to the Philistine’s adventures.
